INTP: The Engineer/Analytical Thinker

INTP stands for Introverted iNtuitive Thinking Perceiving.

First of all, find out which one yours through this website (need registration).

This is a theory made by Carl Jung, a psychologist also the apprentice of Sigmund Freud.
(I've read a novel called The Interpretation of Murder which have these two in it)

After doing the test, I believe that I am a INTP person: The Engineer or Analytical Thinker.

This is a long post. Read it if you care.

According to mypersonality.info, INTPs are logical, individualistic, reserved, and very curious individuals.

All of it describes me. I prefer logical explaination than fantasy/magical/nonsense. I am individualistic. I am reserved; I prefer to keep things to myself and be silent. And yes, I think I have said this in facebook, that I have the 'problem' of wanting to know all things.

Next, from typelogic, INTP people are:

1) They may venture so deeply into thought as to seem detached, and often actually are oblivious to the world around them.
Errm..the word searching for the (un)certainty tells it all..

2) INTPs will often correct others (or be sorely tempted to) if the shade of meaning is a bit off.
Raise your hands up if I have ever corrected your grammar or spelling. I always tempted to correct people's mistakes when I know it's wrong. I tried not to...but! I know I am not really very good either, but simple mistakes could not be forgiven!

3) They spend considerable time second-guessing themselves.
Ughh...

4) Mathematics is a system where many INTPs love to play, similarly languages, computer systems--potentially any complex system.
Ever since school, the only subjects I am good at are Mathematics & Languages (Malay, English, Arabic). I am not good in Science, History. I only score Physics & Chemistry when I put a lot of efforts. Biology? No.. no. The worst result of my SPM - B4! Compare to Math & Languages, I did not study much. Just belek belek nota understanding the formula and concept, and that's all. Damn.. I wish I could enjoy a great life with them again..

5) Games NTs seem to especially enjoy include Risk, Bridge, Stratego, Chess, Go, and word games of all sorts.
I do enjoy Chess, Sudoku, Sahibba, etc.

Continuing, ipersonic said,
6) It takes some time before Analytical Thinkers make friends, but then they are mostly friends for life.
This could be true. Usually, when I meet new people I rarely greet them first. Only, if I think he/she is interesting and want to know them, then I will.

7) Constant social obligations quickly get on their nerves; they need a lot of time alone and often withdraw from others.
Hah. Hah. Hahahaa.

Once upon a time,
"Hakim, weh jom kuaq. Men hanabi. Jom arr." said apersonwhosenameshouldbeinfrontofmine
"Pi mana. Malaih ar."

Actually, I refuse his invitation because he bores me. I know I won't be having a good time with him. Erkk. Don't tell him!

Yesterday, my cosmate also said that I like to be in my room doing my own things. I am a lone ranger. Yessss, I am.

It's not that I don't like outdoor activity. I do. But I like to do it with the people I like and I know I am going to have fun with. So..piss off. Erkk again.

8) Their partner must respect this and understand that this is not due to the lack of affection. Once they have decided in favour of a person, Analytical Thinkers are loyal and reliable partners. However, one cannot expect romance and effusive expressions of feelings from them and they will definitely forget their wedding anniversary. But they are always up to a night spent with stimulating discussions and a good glass of wine!
Blah blah blah blah blahhh~~ hahahha
