chanz's review: Yowamushi Pedal

Now it's time for me to resume my anime series that I have left a looong time ago.

One of them is Yowamushi Pedal.

From the pedal, you might have already guessed, it's about bicycle.

Bicycle road racing.

Hmmm...not what I expected.

The story starts very slow at the beginning.. Making us viewers, been waiting, waiting for the climax to happen. And when it does, it didn't give us any shock, or any impact, or making us feel terrorized at all...

chanz's review: Grown Ups 2

Burpsnart!!

Bengong gila citer ni.

Adam Sandler oh Adam Sandler.

Some comedy got cliche some I think hilariously well made.

What is burpsnart you ask? ahha you would regret asking that question.

It's burping + sneezing + farting at the same time.

Freaking gross and hilarious.

And.....Stone Cold!! haha dia pun ada.. zaman budak2 dulu dok tengok la jugak benda wrestling ni.

So I went to movies last Thursday... a marathon!

chanz's review: Star Trek Into The Darkness

Love it.

chanz's review: Black Mirror

Have you ever watched a show that made you curious, wanted to see more of the plot, your mind is asking what, why, and how. You must have. That kind of show usually will give a remark on our memory for last.

Lately, there are just too many formulaic series, that you feel so hard to even finish one episode of it.

I would like to introduce you a very good series, Black Mirror.

It's a miniseries by Channel 4, a British television broadcast. Each season only has three episodes. And each episode has its own story to tell. Unrelated to each other.

chanz's review: Juvana the Movie

Sebagai peminat drama Juvana, of course la aku gi tengok muvinya juga. Pernah reviu sebelum ni.

The movie was.....okay. Not the best and not the worst. I say it's average.

Mungkin kerana ia muvi, hanya bersiaran selama lebih kurang 2 jam. Segala aksi dan plot disumbatkan dalam satu cerita. Padat. Berbeza dengan drama yang bersambung-sambung.

chanz's review: Life of Pi

This is what I thought when I first saw the trailer, in the movie; Bait that I watched few months ago:

"pretty nice graphics. and I assume it's about someone got lost at the sea, got friend with a tiger, arrived at unknown island (Survivor like, Robinson Crusoe)."

but, at the end of the trailer, the title of the movie appeared: Life of Pi

"ehhh...Pi? π? 3.14159..<insert infinite numbers here> ? is this a story of a mathematical symbol or what...? maybe it's the name of the tiger?? cuz, whose people name be a "Pi"?"

So many speculations I did just based on one trailer lulz. And I didn't even care to google about the movie, because it didn't interest me that much despite all the question marks.

Before I start, a synopsis from imdb:

A young man who survives a disaster at sea is hurtled into an epic journey of adventure and discovery. While cast away, he forms an unexpected connection with another survivor ... a fearsome Bengal tiger. -imdb

chanz's review: Looper

A good film, better than Bait (the last movie I watched this month).

Synopsis: In 2072, when the mob wants to get rid of someone, the target is sent 30 years into the past, where a hired gun awaits. Someone like Joe, who one day learns the mob wants to 'close the loop' by transporting back Joe's future self. - imdb

Time travel. I like it.

It was kind of confusing at first, but for people like me, I quickly get the story.

chanz's review: 29 Februari

Semalam 30 Ogos 2012, 10.30pm...saya menonton filem 29 Februari ni. 2D je. Den tak minat 3d ni ha.

Sinopsis?

Menarik? Pernah tengok Curios Case of Benjamin Button? Ada persamaan di sini. Ya, KRU studios memang pandai pancing minat aku untuk tengok.

chanz's review: The Expendables 2

Last night went to watch midnight movie, The Expendables 2.

chanz's review: Saving Hope

So I'm watching a new show; "Saving Hope" which only been running for few episodes, premiered on June 7th, NBC. It's a medical + supernatural drama. I can't help it when it comes to "medical drama".

Each time a new show came out, my attraction factor is always medical drama. I've tried Trauma, Mental, A Gifted Man. Sadly, most of them didn't last long. No season two.
